These pictures give off such a strong emotion to me that I had to share them, even if they seem just normal. For these pictures, I used an old book of mine that I wasn't going to use and had people hold it while I snapped the picture. It took a lot of tries and a lot of patience to get the images that I wanted, but I believe they turned out well. The stares directly into the camera increase confidence levels emitted from the models, which just screams powerful women. They give off a very untouchable vibe.

While doing the photoshoot I realized that some of the best pictures were the ones when the subjects weren't expecting to be photographed. People constantly hold themselves to certain standards and want to be pictured how they see themselves, but they don't realize that when they're unaware the picture is being taken, it can make for an even better photo. I feel a lot of photoshoots lean towards the more serious side, so I'm glad that I was able to capture so many different tones from this one shoot. I really loved seeing all the smiles caught in these images, because in this world we live in today they're not as common as they should be. Yes, this is yet another post from the same photoshoot. I'm terribly sorry, however all these photos can't just go to waste in my files! All the different subjects and materials used turned into a lot of photos, which means I get to share multiple accounts of the shoot with you. I really enjoyed working on this project with my friends, they made it fun while I got used to portraiture and keeping things interesting by using different things like bubbles to add flavor to my pictures. |
